Our Work.
What We Do
WOTF catalyzes the power of the most vulnerable girls and young women to create the future they imagine — for themselves, for their communities, and for Africa.
We get girls into school, help them to learn, support them to succeed, and unlock their power to lead.
Education
By educating girls and supporting young women into independence and leadership, we are igniting a movement of experts in delivering social justice. Our women leaders in the WOMEN OF TODAY FOUNDATION Association completed school against great odds. They have an intimate understanding of the challenges girls and young women in their communities’ face, and work with schools, parents, and local and national government officials to devise solutions, building an eco-system of support around vulnerable children.
Health Care
Our foundations play a pivotal role in advancing maternal and child healthcare initiatives by providing funding, resources, and advocacy for programs that address the unique needs of mothers and children. We often focus on grassroots efforts that empower local communities to take charge of their health outcomes. By collaborating with healthcare providers, policymakers, and community leaders, we create comprehensive strategies that address barriers to care and promote equitable access to services.
Skill Development
Our overall objective is to promote youth and women empowerment through skills training and capacity building to become self-defendant, contribute to the development of the area as well as that of the country.
Specific objectives include enhancing the financial abilities of women and youth to enable them to provide basic needs in their families i.e., educating their children mainly focusing on the girl child. In addition, equip the youth and women with vocational skills to improve on their social-economic status ensuring the elimination of all kinds of violence against youth and women.
